Live performances

Joe Glover has been crafting 5 string openback banjos in Sydney since 2017. Starting out with a cramped shed and no tools, his aim has always been to make simple, affordable and enjoyable instruments that are fun to play. Using a mix of traditional timbers and Australian hardwoods, each banjo is handmade and has a unique voice and aesthetic.Joe is a musician who plays banjo in folk outfit Shelly’s Murder Boys and harmonica with blues group Backsliders. He’s also a woodwork, technology and design teacher.
