Self-guided walking meditation

A bustling city location might not seem like an obvious place to meditate, but did you know you can practise mindfulness anywhere?

Walking meditation is a form of meditation in action. It turns an everyday activity, usually performed without thinking, into a focused set of deliberate movements that can help to calm your thoughts and reduce stress.

Drop in between 12 April and 15 June for a free self-guided walking meditation at the Hyde Park Barracks and enjoy a moment of reflection and calm. Open 10am–6pm with last entry at 4.30pm. Closed 18 April (Good Friday).

The meditation will be available for download at the Hyde Park Barracks. Visitors will need to bring their own device and headphones to participate in this activity.
