After Dark: Dis(order)
Join us for this year’s final After Dark, an evening of live music, discussion and dis(order). This edition of the series will explore ins and outs of the cultural life of Sydney, from the advent of the suburban shopping centre and its impact on the city, to the ‘night-time economy’ and cultural policies in place today.
Post-lockouts, post-lockdowns and with current cultural policies trying to breathe life back into the city, is this enough or what more can more be done for our state capital? Have similar policies been implemented in the past and what else can be done to make sure Sydney really is a creative city with a thriving nightlife?
Panellists Kerri Glasscock, Director of Sydney Fringe Festival; Michael Lech, MHNSW Curator; Kels Bagust, Project Manager – Night Time Economy, City of Sydney; and Sarah Bedak, performer, producer and music manager will be joined by host Sunil Badami to discuss creativity, night life and all things culture in our city. Plus don’t miss Lolo Lovina performing live and Chrissy Flanagan’s (of Chaotic Social fame) facilitated networking. Our onsite bar will be brought to you by Archie Rose Distilling Co.
Members get more: Enjoy a complimentary cocktail at the Archie Rose Bar to the value of $15. Plus 10% off food and drink and access to reserved seating.
