Museums of History NSW values the deep engagement our donors have with our work
Impact of giving
We are dedicated to connecting people to our past, providing greater access to our properties and collections, and to a broad range of stories about our social, cultural and political histories and identities.
Our annual giving program raises funds to support our commitment to preserving and presenting our state’s unique history, bringing it to life through diverse voices and viewpoints, and supporting audiences of all backgrounds to gain fresh perspectives and understandings.
Your donation will help us to preserve and conserve our 12 historic sites, expand and digitise our collections and archives, deliver immersive learning programs, engage with First Nations communities and histories, and develop new and exciting exhibitions and experiences.
Help us to achieve our vision to make the histories, stories and cultures of NSW discoverable and relevant for all, ensuring our significant history will be shared for generations to come.
Acknowledgement of support
Annual donors will have access to unique and diverse opportunities to engage with Museums of History NSW and the stories of our state through a bespoke program of events commensurate with their level of giving.

- curator-led viewings of our exhibitions, collections and properties
- invitations to exhibition openings
- behind-the-scenes tours
- introducing a circle of friends to Museums of History NSW through a curator-led viewing of a chosen collection or property.

2023 Annual Appeal: digitisation projects underway

Digitising the Susannah Place Collection
Susannah Place and its rich collections, which are undigitised, reflect the shared history of the four houses and the personal stories of the working class families who called this place home.

Digitising the Rose Seidler House Collection
This project will digitise the entire collection, making it accessible to our online audiences, and harness the significance of Seidler’s design legacy.

Photographs, Justice & Police Museum Collection
