Annual Giving: engaging with history
Supporting children to discover history
This financial year, our Annual Giving program gives you the opportunity to enrich the lives of children across NSW and beyond through the power of education and the wonder of discovering the past at our culturally and historically significant places.
MHNSW’s acclaimed curriculum-linked learning programs, led by highly trained staff and complemented by interactive learning resources, archaeological material and fascinating exhibits, enable students to experience, explore and reflect on the places and stories that have shaped NSW and Australia.
Our programs equip teachers with the resources they need to deliver engaging content in a safe and inclusive environment, stimulating student curiosity and confidence in their learning journey.
Your generous and thoughtful support of these programs will help us to:
- increase the number of students from low-socioeconomic backgrounds and from regional and rural NSW schools participating in our onsite and virtual learning excursions
- increase access for students with moderate to high, or complex access requirements
- provide culturally safe content for First Nations children to engage with history
- develop new workshops and learning tools that meet the changing needs of teachers and teachers-in-training.
Discover the five areas where your support can enrich the lives of students, teachers and future teachers:
Your approach sparked curiosity and fostered a sense of wonder.
