The Project: History Extension Seminar Day

Presented by Museums of History NSW and the State Library of NSW, this seminar day will equip students with the tools, advice and confidence to embark on their major project.

This year for the first time, the History Extension Project Seminar Day will be delivered as a hybrid event. Students have the option to attend the full day program in person, or half a day online (morning sessions only).Whether attending in person or virtually, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with museum, library and history professionals, History Extension experts, and former History Extension students.

Highlights of this year’s seminar include a Q&A with award-winning journalist, author and history enthusiast Marc Fennell, and a session on how to approach your project with Jonathon Dallimore, author, university lecturer, and executive officer for the History Teachers’ Association of NSW. Students attending the program in person can also attend a series of afternoon workshops designed to spark curiosity and allow students to speak with experts and network with their peers. All attendees will receive access to a suite of online content, including research tips and presentations from previous years.

Tickets for this event will be available from [DATE & TIME TBC]. Mark the date in your calendar now to avoid missing out!
