To visit the library, we recommend that you book a time so you can be sure we have space and staff available to assist you. To view specific items, you need to request those items at least three days before your visit.

Research enquiries
Visitors with research enquiries are encouraged to book in for one of the two 3-hour daily sessions offered, either 10am to 1pm or 1pm to 4pm. Please email us at library@mhnsw.au or phone +61 2 8239 2233 to arrange your appointment.
Visiting with a group
The library’s unique holding of print, archives and objects provides opportunities for tertiary teachers and groups to engage in tours with an object-based learning focus.
If you are planning to visit us in a group of five or more people, we ask that you contact us at least one month in advance of the visit. Please email us at library@mhnsw.au.
