I might be a little late to the party in sharing the news, but better late than never, right? The Wisteria at Vaucluse House is in full glory draped along the front of the house colourfully announcing springs arrival.

The wisteria (Wisteria sinensis) on the verandah and also beside the Tearooms is currently in full bloom and should last another week before you miss out on seeing and smelling their iconic colour and scent. The blooms on the toilet block building however are only just beginning to open and should be at peak in another weeks’ time. Compared to last year's very early arrival, this year is sporting a much fuller and dense bloom.

Rain in the previous weeks and springs’ arrival has done wonders for the garden; with the Wisteria out it is the perfect reason to make the trip to come and visit us in the gardens at Vaucluse House.
